Dr. Darryl Casterton grew up on a farm in rural Northern Idaho raising cattle and horses. She graduated from Washington State University in 2021 and moved to San Tan Valley with her husband, Lucas. Darryl loves all large animal medicine but has always had a soft spot for cattle and horses.
In practice, Dr. Casterton especially enjoys beef cattle herd work, cattle reproduction, equine reproduction (including AI and embryo transfer) and veterinary chiropractic.
Darryl loves to be outdoors and is excited to experience the Arizona weather. When she is not at work, Darryl can be found taking care of her own cows, horses, dogs, Millie and Chassis, and cat, Smudge. Her favorite place to be is horseback, which is where she and her husband spend most of their spare time, raising colts and roping.
